-
4 tsp Morton & Bassett Organic Coarse Ground Black Pepper
-
4 tsp Morton & Bassett Organic Smoked Paprika
-
1 tsp Morton & Bassett Organic Onion Powder
-
1 tsp Morton & Bassett Organic Cayenne Pepper
2 salmon fillets
4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
¼ cup Greek yogurt
1/8 cup mayonnaise
Juice and zest of half lemon
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 clove garlic, grated
Parmesan cheese for topping
Lemon slices for serving
Salt, to taste
Directions
In a small bowl, mix 3 tsp M&B Organic Coarse Ground Black Pepper, 2 tsp M&B Organic Smoked Paprika, M&B Organic Onion Powder, M&B Organic Cayenne Pepper, and a pinch of salt. Rub the seasoning evenly over both salmon fillets.
Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for about 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through or internal temperature reaches about 140 degrees. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a bowl, make the dressing by whisking together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, lemon juice and zest, grated garlic, remaining black pepper, and remaining smoked paprika until smooth.
Toss lettuce with dressing and top with Parmesan cheese. Plate the salad and serve with the blackened salmon on top. Garnish with lemon slices.
