Since 1986, Morton & Bassett has always been known for uncompromised quality. This has been our guiding star for the past 30 years.
Our unique, distinctive and simple packaging says quality from the very start. As a San Francisco Bay Area and family owned company based in Sonoma County, we work 24-7-365 to maintain our leading quality edge. We strive to be stewards of our planet, whether it's our Platinum LEED certified factory with 100% solar power, our use of Roots for Peace pepper, our commitment to non-GMO, or our avid support for community organizations.
Morton & Bassett packages over 135 spice, herb and extract items both in conventional and organic varieties. Everything we sell is all natural, salt free, gluten free, non-GMO, preservative free, MSG free, non irradiated, and kosher.
Morton & Bassett sources only the best quality spices from around the world, which allows us to keep our differentiation from other spice companies. We want all our customers to experience the "wow" factor with our best in class flavor in everything we bottle.
Our mission has always been to surpass our customers' expectations with the finest quality and service.
Our top priority has always been food safety. We continue a strict program of quality assurance, packaging, sterilization, and testing that is far beyond the industry standards. We source only from spice suppliers around the world that share our commitment to the best quality available.
Proudly a LEED Platinum and "Spice Only" facility, we rigorously inspect and test from start to finish. Our pathogen "Kill-Step" treats raw materials prior to production to provide an extra level of food safety.
Since our start in 1986, we were the first to package spices in clear packaging. We've always been very proud of the quality products inside the bottles, and we want everyone to see it.
All of our spices are sealed for maximum freshness and flavor with our patented RealFreshTM Seal System. Our dual lids have concentric freshness rings that provide a double layer of protection for product freshness.
