Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground turkey
- ½ white onion, chopped
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 can tomato paste
- 3 tbsp Worscheshire
- 1 tbsp Salt

2 tsp Morton & Bassett Whole Black
Peppercorn Grinder

½ tbsp Morton & Bassett Granulated Garlic

½ Tbsp Morton & Bassett Guajillo Chile

½ Tbsp Morton & Bassett Smoked Paprika
- 3 Bell Peppers
- ⅓ cup sliced green onions
- 2 cups shredded monterey jack

Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut bell peppers in half and remove seeds & stems. Brush with olive oil, and bake for 10 minutes or until softened.
- While your peppers are baking, start on your sloppy joe mix: in a large pan, saute your chopped white onion until translucent.
- In the same pan, combine 1lb ground beef and 1 lb ground turkey.
- Season generously with M&B Black Peppercorn, M&B Granulated Garlic, M&B Guajillo Chile, M&B Smoked Paprika
- After your meat is cooked thoroughly, add in brown sugar, tomato paste, Worcestershire, and salt.
- Remove peppers from the oven and fill with the meat mixture.
- Generously sprinkle with cheese and put back into the oven for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted with a golden brown top.
- Top with chopped green onion and serve.
