Ingredients
- 2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Morton & Bassett Vanilla Extract

1/2 tablespoon Morton & Bassett Cinnamon
- 4 cups pecans, chopped slightly

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
- For the crust, in a medium mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add salt and flour and continue mixing until everything is incorporated.
- Press dough firmly into a baking dish (9X13) that has been lined with parchment paper and greased. Continue pressing the dough until it lays flat and even in the pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until just starting to get golden brown on the top. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat melt butter, then add brown sugar, honey, heavy cream, salt, vanilla, ginger and cinnamon. Let simmer for two minutes. Then add pecans. Pour filling over prepared crust. Let bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool before cutting and serving.
