Ingredients
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Morton & Bassett Lavender
- 1 teaspoon Morton & Bassett Vanilla Extract
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 orange, zested

Directions
- To start, preheat the oven to 350°F and rub a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a small saucepan, combine milk and M&B Lavender over medium heat. Cook until simmering, then set aside to cool slowly.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer. Slowly beat in the eggs and the M&B Vanilla Extract until light and fluffy.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Then alternate between adding in the butter mixture and the lavender syrup. Mix until well combined and pour into the buttered pan.
- Bake for around 45 minutes or until the middle of the loaf is no longer wet. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- While the loaf is baking, make your glaze. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar and water until the glaze reaches a honey-like consistency.
- Drizzle over your cooled loaf, top with orange zest and enjoy!
