Gorgonzola Roasted Pears

Ingredients
3 pears, halved
¾ cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
½ cup walnuts, chopped

½ tbsp Morton & Bassett Thyme
¼ cup maple syrup

½ tbsp Morton & Bassett Aleppo Pepper
6 sprigs fresh thyme

1 tsp Morton & Bassett Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder
½ tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Halve the pears and place them in a cast-iron skillet. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and M&B Whole Black Peppercorn Grinder, and bake for 10–15 minutes until slightly softened.
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, M&B Thyme, and M&B Aleppo Pepper.
Remove the pears from the oven and scoop a small amount from the center of each half.
Fill the pears with gorgonzola and chopped walnuts.
Drizzle the maple-spice mixture over the pears and return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, top with fresh thyme sprigs, and serve warm.
