Ingredients

1 tsp Morton & Bassett Pure Vanilla Extract

1 tsp Morton & Bassett Pure Almond Extract
2 cups flour
1 large egg
1 cup salted butter
1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
2 tsp baking powder
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
Add the egg, then mix in the flour, baking powder, M&B Pure Vanilla Extract, and M&B Pure Almond Extract until a soft dough forms.
Shape the dough into a ball, then roll it out on parchment paper (dust with flour if needed to prevent sticking).
Cut out cookie shapes and transfer them to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 375°F for 7–10 minutes, or until the edges are just lightly golden.
Remove and let cool completely before decorating.
