Spicy Spiked Lemonade
Start by making a simple syrup with the sugar and water. Add both to a pot and bring to a light boil, just long enough for the sugar to dissolve. Set aside and let cool in the fridge.
Mix freshly squeezed lemon juice in a pitcher with simple syrup and ice.
In a small plate, mix together the rim ingredients: lemon zest, aleppo pepper, and sugar.
Gently run a lemon slice around the rim of the glass, tip the mouth of the glass onto the rim mixture while gently twisting. Do this until rim is fully coated. Pour in your lemonade, add a garnish, and enjoy!
